The work is decided before you press generate. A sharp, front-lit source with a similar angle and a similar expression to the target face will land. A cropped selfie, a three-quarter source into a straight-on template, or a grin forced onto a deadpan still will not, and running it again on the same pair rarely fixes that. Match the geometry first, then spend the credits.

The target slot is an upload, not a catalogue. Still images accept JPEG, PNG and WebP up to 10 MB. Clips accept MP4, MOV and WebM up to 100 MB. GIF, HEIC and AVIF are rejected before a charge. The same source replaces every face the detector finds in the target. You cannot assign a different source to each person in a group still. Angle, expression and sharpness decide the joke
Comic timing in a still is a few pixels of mouth and brow. Celebrity pages lock a named source on purpose; this page does not, because a meme is not a reason to skip consent.
Formats follow the same allowlist as every other tool page: JPEG, PNG and WebP for stills, MP4, MOV and WebM for clips. Convert a GIF to a still or a short MP4 before you arrive. Geometry over flattery
Match three things: head angle, expression, and how much of the face is visible. A source shot from above will sit wrongly on a camera-level template. A smile will read as a grimace on a closed-mouth still. Hair covering one eye, heavy sunglasses or a profile crop starve the swap of landmarks. Front light, both eyes, and an expression already close to the template beat a prettier photo every time.
Resolution is the fourth constraint. The swap rebuilds the face at up to 1024×1024 in the swapped region and returns the file at the size you uploaded. A 200-pixel head in a noisy screenshot cannot gain the detail a sharp source never provided. If the template is small, keep the source tight on the face so the model is not spending pixels on a torso.
What to inspect before you post
Look at the hairline, the ears, the neck seam, the glasses, and whether the mouth still says the same thing as the original joke. A swap that wins on identity and loses on expression has failed as a meme, even if the face is recognisably yours. If the clip flickers for a frame, the usual causes are a turning head, a hand over the mouth, or a source that does not match the angle; enhancement will not invent a missing view.

Consent Is the Joke's Boundary
A meme is still a likeness. Sexual or pornographic swaps are banned, filtered, and grounds for losing the account, on every plan. So is dressing a real person in a scene they did not agree to, including a joke that would humiliate them. Paying does not buy a waiver. Reports are acted on.
If you publish the file, say that it is AI-edited. Passing a swapped face off as a real photograph of someone else is deception, and in a growing number of places it is also a crime. Use your own face, a person who agreed in writing, or a synthetic character. That is the whole policy, and it does not get looser because the output is meant to be funny.

It depends on the likeness and how you present it. Your own face, a written agreement, or a synthetic character, clearly labelled as AI-edited, is the safe case. A real person who did not agree, a sexual edit, or a file passed off as authentic is not. Local law sits on top of the terms of service.
